They are cylinder or cone shaped with a hollow center, resembling a hot chimney when it comes fresh out the oven. Slogan “Love at first bite!” is true!
AZ Chimney Cakes. was born out of pure passion for the product. Before there was ever a business, there was a love for Chimney Cakes. When Founder & Owner Zaaron Williams was traveling across Europe in the summer of 2017, he encountered the Chimney Cakes for the first time. After eating them in Prague, he wanted to share these heavenly treats with everyone. Upon returning to Arizona, he could not find them anywhere, so together with his mother they researched and found a Hungarian recipe for the dough and found a woman willing to share the rolling technique and how to make a Chimney Cake! He wanted the authenticity he had experienced abroad.
So Zaaron set out to do it on his own. With no culinary background, he tinkered in the kitchen for months before he had perfected the recipe. When Zaaron’s mother, Kathy, perfected the cakes, Zaaron started bringing them to work for taste tasting! With a desire to share his Chimney Cakes with everyone he knew (and more!), AZ Chimney Cakes. was born.
They began dreaming and planning their business and after a successful Kickstarter Campaign, finally founded AZ Chimney Cakes. as a food truck in February 2018.
